NBR extensions need a re-tightening (a move-up) every 6 to 8 weeks as your natural hair grows and the rows shift away from your scalp. At that appointment I remove the wefts, clean the section, and re-sew everything back up close to the roots.
Staying on this schedule is the single most important thing you can do to keep your hair healthy. When rows grow out too far, they can start to tug, and that's what causes tension. Six to eight weeks keeps everything comfortable, seamless, and safe.
